Grand Marshal Frank Lombardi

Frank is a First-Generation Italian-American born and raised in Bronx, NY, by his parents Osvaldo and Ermagena Lombardi, who were born in Roggiano Gravina, Cosenza, Italy.  He is currently a Partner at the Law Firm of Pillinger Miller Tarallo in White Plains, practicing in civil litigation across the State of New York, where he is also admitted to practice in the Federal Courts.

He is the father of Anthony, Frank and Alexa, all whom attended school in Mahopac.  His brother Daniel is the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at St. Barnabas Hospital Health System in Bronx, NY.

Frank attended Mt. St. Michael Hight School in the Bronx, where he was part of the Student Counsel.  In 1988, he received the Congressman’s Medal of Merit for Outstanding Community Service. He is also an Eagle Scout of Boy Scout Troop 145.

Frank earned a B.A. In Political Science/Public Administration from Fordham University and earned a Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law, earning scholarships from the Italian-American Lawyers Association.

He began his devotion to public service as a member of Bronx Community Board #10 at age 15, eventually serving at Chairman for 3 years, where he was one of the youngest serving Chairman in the City’s history. He also served as President of the Northeast Bronx Senior Center for 4 years. He served as President of the Vince Lombardi Lodge, Sons of Italy in Bronx, NY.

In 2003, he and his family moved to Mahopac to raise his three children.  He immediately got involved in the community serving as a Scout Leader, coach of multiple youth sports for MSA for several years, member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Knights of Columbus, member of the Italian American Club, and member of the Carmel Republican Committee.  He was selected by the then Town Board to serve as a member of the Environmental Conservation Board of the Town of Carmel, serving 4 years and then was selected to serve on the Planning Board of the Town of Carmel, where he served for 5 years.

In 2009, he was elected to the Carmel Town Board, where he served from 2010 to 2017 and then again from 2020 to the present.  He has served as Deputy Supervisor of the Town of Carmel for over 8 years during his tenure. Frank has drafted several pieces of legislation and resolutions that impact the lives and safety of the residents of the Town of Carmel.

Frank also served as Part-Time Counsel to State Senator Terrance Murphy in the NYS Legislature. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College teaching Litigation for Paralegals.
